FAQ

RiseUp Band – Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why won’t my teen wake up to regular alarms?

Many teens aren’t ignoring alarms on purpose. During adolescence, sleep cycles shift later and deep sleep becomes harder to interrupt. Sound alarms often get filtered out by the brain during late sleep stages.

RiseUp Band uses a gentle physical vibration the body can register even when sound is tuned out.

2. How does RiseUp Band work?

RiseUp Band is a silent vibrating alarm worn on the wrist.

At your set wake-up time, it delivers a gentle vibration that gradually increases until your teen wakes. Because it’s a physical signal, it’s much harder to ignore than sound alone.

No loud noise. No snooze loops. No waking the whole house.

3. Is the vibration strong enough to wake deep sleepers?

Yes. The vibration is designed specifically for deep sleepers and can be adjusted for intensity.

Many parents tell us their teen slept through phone alarms, sunrise clocks, and loud alarms—but woke consistently with RiseUp.

4. Will it wake siblings or parents?

No. RiseUp Band is completely silent.

Only the person wearing it feels the vibration, so siblings and parents stay asleep.

5. Is it comfortable to wear all night?

Yes. The strap is soft, lightweight, and low-profile so teens can sleep normally.

Most users forget they’re even wearing it after the first night.

6. How long does the battery last?

A full charge typically lasts around 10–15 days depending on vibration strength and usage.

Charging takes about 1–2 hours, USB attached to watch.

7. Is RiseUp Band safe?

Yes. It uses gentle vibration similar to a smartwatch notification. There is no electric shock, no sound, and no harmful signals.

If your teen has medical conditions or sensitivities, consult a doctor before use.

8. Is this good for teens with ADHD or distraction-prone mornings?

RiseUp Band is designed for deep sleepers and teens who struggle to wake reliably.

Many parents of distraction-prone teens find it helpful because it reduces snoozing and parent reminders.
It is not a medical device and does not treat ADHD.

9. What if it doesn’t work for my teen?

Every sleeper is different, which is why we offer a risk-free trial.

Try RiseUp through real school mornings. If it doesn’t help, contact us and we’ll make it right.

10. Can my teen snooze the alarm?

Yes. RiseUp allows a short snooze, but because it’s worn on the wrist, teens are far less likely to ignore it repeatedly like phone alarms.

11. Does it work without a phone?

Yes. Once the alarm is set, the band works independently.

No Wi-Fi or phone connection needed overnight.

12. What age is RiseUp Band for?

It’s designed for teens and young adults, but many college students and heavy sleepers use it too.

13. How fast does shipping take?

Orders typically ship within 5-12 business days. Delivery times vary by location and are shown at checkout.

14. Why is RiseUp better than louder alarms?

Louder alarms try to force the brain awake with sound.

RiseUp works differently—it sends a physical signal the body can feel. That means less stress, less yelling, and more independence for your teen.
